This is a great product but I wish I would have know how old it was. An example of this is that it uses Bluetooth 1.1 and for the most part the rest of the world has moved to 2.0. It was difficult to find a headset that was 1.1 compatable. -- Great product BUT
I mostly got this for the 5.8Ghz so that it wouldn't interfere with my wireless networks. I found it to have nice features like these: I like assigning ringtones to different phone numbers so I know when I need to pick up the phone; I like the ability to put my contacts on the phone so I don't have to type them using the phone; I like being able to get messages on the phone unit and not having to be near the base unit.
It pairs up easily with my bluetooth headset and the speaker phone seems to work nicely. I can put the hand unit in my shirt pocket and talk.
Just these features alone make this a great value. This is my second one -- my dog ate my first one. -- Nice phone; decent features
